Please note enamel pins are handmade items. Flaws may differ from pin to pin, and colors may vary from screen to screen. The back and sides of the pins will not be graded, including wobbly pin posts.

A Grade:

Free of major flaws. However, when viewing the pin very closely, there may be very few minor imperfections including (but not limited to):

• tiny stray specs of glitter
• minor dust in enamel
• minor air bubbles in the enamel
• minor enamel fill errors
• slightly misaligned screen printing
• minor imperfections on metal/enamel surfaces

B Grade: 

Contains flaws that cannot be seen from arms length. Up close, there may be several minor or major flaws including (but not limited to):

• noticeable imperfections on enamel or metal surfaces (scratches, holes, dots, etc.)
• noticeable air bubbles in the enamel
• multiple stray glitter specks
• overflowing enamel fills
• noticeable off-set or incomplete screen printing
• incorrect or incomplete filling of enamel/glitter
• small area of enamel staining or discolored enamel
• 1-2 very small unfilled enamel area

C Grade:

Multiple major defects including (but not limited to):

• multiple defects or imperfections in the metal plating or enamel
• large or deep scratches in enamel
• large areas of under filled enamel
• parts of pin are bent
• large and multiple air bubbles in enamel
• one or more unfilled enamel area
• multiple areas where glitter has been misapplied
• multiple areas of enamel staining or discolored enamel
• broken or missing pin posts
• 1 or more unfilled enamel area(s)
